Web Spider is one of the eight Maverick that appears in Megaman X4.

Web Spider was once a Maverick Hunters from from the 0th Special Unit to the Zero command, he then deserted and joined Repliforce where he led a guerrilla. When Repliforce began its coup for independence, Spider is assigned to keep guard over a cannon in the savages of a jungle occupied by the group. He fights against X and Zero but in the end he is defeated. The most common strategy of Spider is to hide at the top of the screen, and then he will go down so he launches an semi-homing electric web against the player. When it is low life, it will create a large web and walk on the web. And then releasing grades of walking drones and firing into the usual electrical web. His weakness is the Twin Slasher.
