Wind Man is one of the eight Robot Masters that appears in game as boss in Mega Man 6. Wind Man also had a strong rivalry with Air Man.

Megaman goes behind Wind Man to know that it is Mr. X, plus the wrong thing and fight them against each other, ending Megaman defeating Wind Man. In the fight Wind Man will shoot his two propellers one down and one up, this give to be avoibed if the Megaman jumps when two helices come at the same time. He also tries to suck the Megaman to try for deal contact damage. This can be avoided by slinding. Wind Man will also try to land on the Megaman, this can be avoided by sliding under him before he lands. His weakness is the Centaur Flash.
