Coach Cod, is the main antagonist of SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Sing a Song of Patrick" and the deuteragonist of the episode "Pigskin Pearl". He is Patrick's gym teacher who is known to be strict and wrathful.
In "Sing a Song of Patrick", he is voiced by Mark Fite and in "Pigskin Pearl", he is voiced by Craig T. Nelson.
Biography
In "Sing a Song of Patrick", SpongeBob and Patrick are at Near Mint Comic Book store and Patrick saws an ad that claims to adapt a poem into a song. This reminds Patrick when he was younger he was reciting a poem: "Roses are blue, violets are red. I have to go to the bathroom" as the coach repeatedly says it's gym class and he have Patrick getting pelted with dodgeballs.
Nevertheless, he writes a poem anyways so it would be a "masterpiece" and avoids getting thrown by dodgeballs again. The song is so bad and does not make any sense to the point where it killed the entire band and destroys SpongeBob’s house. Patrick thought it would be a good idea to play this song throughout the town that causes mass rioting.
It looks like they are almost getting beaten up by an angry mob however it turns out the duo are playing random noises with musical instrument and said it was a new song which the mob admits wasn’t bad. Patrick sings the song to everyone until his old gym teacher arrives and he wanted to teach Patrick a lesson by telling the angry mob to pelt him with dodgeballs again.
In "Pigskin Pearl", he trains Pearl for a football game.
In "Karate Pals", he is talking to a student in the background until Pearl launched a tuba to them as they explode.
